Meals... This is what seems to get parents worked up and worried about. As far as we are concerned there is no problem with children in the main restaurant for breakfast or lunch. Lunch is a very casual affair anyway and often taken al fresco. If things get fraught over breakfast we can always find an ante room to give you space but this is rarely necessary. Dinner, on the other hand, is a bit special; it is the meal that we will have expended most of our energies on, a meal that a lot of diners come out for from the surrounding area, a meal that most of our residents base their stay with us round and frankly a time of day when we are catering for a more adult audience. We want to keep this tradition. So we just will not allow tiny ones at dinner. For many parents too this is a time of the day for “us”!
